Note: Gold Filled crimps are not brittle and do not break as easy as pewter crimps. They are also much more forgiving if you happen to get your item too tight or loose you can back off the crimp with your crimping plier and fix your wire and crimp again. I have also successfully reused gold filled crimps if I happen to cut apart a necklace or bracelet that I did not like :-)
