Note: I always use sterling crimps even if the item I am working on is non-sterling. Sterling crimps are not brittle and do not break as easy as pewter crimps. They are also much more forgiving if you happen to get your item too tight or loose you can back off the crimp with your crimping plier and fix your wire and crimp again. This 2 x 1 sterling crimp is also used to make those great illusion necklaces that are so popular right now. Just place a crimp on your wire or mono and crimp flat ..put on a few beads and another crimp and crimp down flat again. Soo much better and nicer looking than trying to glue beads on the line.
